Why I Love My Library
Our campaign celebrates libraries. We want everyone, especially elected officials, to know that "libraries offer services that are essential to the well-being of our communities." Thousands of people use their libraries to access the information they need to improve their lives, whether it is to complete school assignments, find recreational reading and audio/visual material, attend informational programs, use computers, seek jobs, grow personally or professionally, or to help their children learn and stretch their imaginations.
How have you benefited from your library? We would love to know. Please share your story or comments here.
The Why I Love My Library campaign is an initiative of Citizens for Maryland Libraries (CML) and local library Friends groups in Maryland.
